Roads and Sidewalks
The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all municipal roadways within Minden Hills, road construction projects, sidewalks, and municipal parking lots.

Report a Problem |
To report a non-emergency problem with your road, please contact the Public Works Department to let us know of a road maintenance need. Within 3 business days, someone from our department will reach out to you to provide you with an update. |
Winter Sand |
Winter sand is made available at the Minden Curling Club. This sand is not for commercial use. There is a limit of one 5-gallon bucket of sand per vehicle. Sand is available on a first-come-first serve basis and is dropped off only after crews are finished plowing and sanding the roads. If there is no sand available, please return to check later. |

Entrance and Wide Load Permits |
Entrance PermitsAn entrance permit must be received from the Township of you are building an entrance onto a municipal road, or if you are building a house on a property where an entrance already exists but an entrance permit was not previously issued for the property. Please visit our entrance and wide load permits page for more information. Wide Load PermitsA Wide Load Permit is required before moving oversize loads across Township roads.
