Attractions and Adventures
Minden Hills has so much to do, there is never a dull moment. The Minden Hills Cultural Centre has the Agnes Jamieson Gallery displaying works from past and present artists and special exhibits, and Nature's Place that promotes education on local wildlife. The Museum and Heritage Village expands to seven buildings, each offering a unique insight to our history.
For the outdoor lovers, Minden Hills is home to a number of public beaches, parks and trails, including a scenic lookout point above Minden. The trails throughout the township have a variety of difficulty levels to ensure that everyone can enjoy them. With outdoor spaces dedicated to baseball, extreme kayaking, and ATVs, there is plenty to do in the warmer months. Our winters are full of events as well, such as curling, skating, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling to name a few.
Throughout the year, the municipality hosts signature events unique to the area. Information about upcoming events can be viewed on our Community Events Calendar.
