Hydro Update
Hydro One continues to work diligently to restore power to the 1600 remaining households still without. This work includes replacing broken hydro poles. Hydro One has over 400 field resources in our area. Crews are now trying to access hard to reach areas in challenging terrain.

Dear residents, The ice storm that happened on the last weekend of March has caused tremendous damage throughout the community, and continues to leave thousands without power. Minden Hills declared a state of emergency on March 31st and the County of Haliburton declared a state of emergency in support of Minden Hills the same day.
