Committee of Adjustment
The Committee of Adjustment is responsible for making decisions on all applications for:
- minor variance; and,
- permission relating to legal non-conforming uses.
When making decisions, the Committee is guided by:
- the Planning Act;
- relevant Provincial Policy, Official Plan Policies and Zoning By-law regulations;
- comments from various agencies and residents; and,
- local knowledge, past practices and individual circumstances pertaining to the application.

Planning application forms are available by contacting the Planning Department.
Public Hearings
The Committee of Adjustment typically meets on the last Monday of the month to consider applications for minor variances from the Township's Zoning By-law and are open to the public.

Pre-registerIf you would like to participate, make comment or speak during a Public Hearing, please pre-register with the Planning Department.
