Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN)
EORN has created several projects to improve broadband and cell connectivity. The initial project, Broadband Phase 1, helped improve fixed high-speed internet access across the region. EORN also helped negotiate better pricing to expand fibre optic connections for municipal governments.
A project to improve the reach and quality of cell services is now under way. At the same time EORN is pursuing further opportunities to expand broadband access to meet new national broadband standards and to help the region keep up with demand for greater speeds and bandwidth.
Visit eorn.ca for contact information and to learn more about current projects.
