Release #24-24
Subject: Connection & Response, an exhibit by Bruce Cull, opens Thursday, April 4, 2024
Connection and Response, an exhibit by artist Bruce Cull, will be on display at the Agnes Jamieson Gallery from April 4 to June 8, 2024.
Bruce Cull is profoundly connected to the environment and to his historical roots. He was raised in a small community in Northern Ontario. After completing his studies, he returned to the north to raise his family and practice his art. His work expresses his fear of a lost connection with each other and our environment, and a hope that we will re-discover all our forms of connection with our response. Bruce has won several awards and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Ontario, Alberta and New York.
The opening reception with the artist will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 1-3 p.m. Refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend.
The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is a public gallery with year-round visual exhibitions of local and regional art. The Gallery is part of the Minden Hills Cultural Centre which also includes the Heritage Village & Nature Place Interpretive Centre. The Gallery is fully accessible.
