Subject: Fall programs and events at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre

The fall programs and events schedule at the Minden Hills is now available. While the documentary screening event and PA Day movies are free, “Haunting in Minden Hills” and “Christmas in the Village” are with admission by donation. Registration is not required for any of these events.

“Haunting in Minden Hills” – @ the Heritage Village - October 28, Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM

An annual Halloween event where there will be Halloween contests, games, performances, and hands-on activities. Contest participants may win a prize sponsored by local businesses. Admission is by donation.

“Unwanted Soldiers” Documentary Screening event – @ the Welch Room – November 9, Thursday 5 PM to 7 PM

Join the Minden Hills Cultural Centre and Haliburton County Public Library for a special screening of Unwanted Soldiers. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Proceeds will go to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 636 - Minden. The film is provided courtesy of the NFB.

PA Day movies – @ the Welch Room – November 17, Friday 1 PM to 2:30 PM

Join Minden Hills Cultural Centre and Haliburton County Public Library for a free family-friendly movie evening at the Welch Room on a PA day. Snacks will be provided. No registration required. “Christmas in the village” – @ the Heritage Village – November 18, Saturday 11 AM to 4:00 PM

Visit Minden Hills Cultural Centre for the seasonal event, “Christmas in the village”. More information of the event will be available soon.
