Subject: Minden Hills Cultural Centre Presents “The Muse, Under the Thin Blue Line” – an exhibit by Bob Tunnoch
The Minden Hills Cultural Centre is pleased to present The Muse, Under the Thin Blue Line, a solo exhibition by artist Bob Tunnoch.
As a member of the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), Ontario Society of Artists (OSA), the Colour and Form Society (CFS), and many more, Bob Tunnoch’s paintings can be found in private and corporate collections across North America. Bob, or ‘Omar’ as his friends like to call him, was a featured artist in the 2013 publication of ‘International Contemporary Artists’. The natural world has been the inspiration for his art. He likes to portray the ignored and overlooked life forms that live around us and engage the viewer in a visual conversation by putting his subjects in humorous, unusual and thought-provoking situations. His use of vibrant colors, attention to detail and intriguing subject matter consistently leaves the viewer questioning his motives.
“The Muse, Under the Thin Blue Line” is on display from November 1 to December 20, 2022, with an official opening reception on Saturday November 5 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The artist will be present for an artist talk, offering more insight into his work, at 1:30 PM.
The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is a public gallery with year-round visual exhibitions of local and regional art.
