Subject: PA Day Open House Days at the Cultural Centre this Fall
Looking for something exciting to do during the PA Days this fall? Join us at our “PA Day Open House” on Friday, October 25 and Friday, November 22, 2024 and visit Nature’s Place from 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Visitors can explore exhibits that highlight our natural heritage, including the most recent display about pollinators along the Gull River. Visitors can also take part in hands-on interactive activities and enjoy a range of creative crafts led by our instructors. Admission to Nature’s Place is by donation.
In addition, don't miss our free PA Day movies from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. both days, co-hosted by the Cultural Centre and the HCPL (Haliburton County Public Library) – Minden Branch. “Casper” (1997) will be shown on October 25, and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000) will be shown on November 22. Light refreshments will be provided, but visitors are welcome to bring their own snacks for the movie. Our PA Day Open House is a fantastic opportunity to spend your PA day, learning, creating, and enjoying time here at the Cultural Centre.
The Cultural Centre is located at 176 Bobcaygeon Road, Minden and is open year-round from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The final day of the seasonal opening for the Minden Hills Museum & Heritage Village and Nature’s Place is Saturday, October 12, 2024.
