Subject:        Notice of Urgent Watermain Maintenance on Newcastle Street

The Township of Minden Hills is advising residents of upcoming urgent watermain maintenance scheduled to take place Tuesday, July 30, 2024, along Newcastle Street. The affected area is expected to be from Bobcaygeon Road to St. Germaine Street.

Residents and businesses in the affected area may experience reduced water pressure or a complete loss of water for a short period of time. Work is expected to be completed between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Township Staff will make every effort to avoid complete water loss, however it may be necessary for the repair to take place.

If residents experience discoloration in the water, they should run outdoor faucet, laundry tub faucet, bath, or shower faucet until the discolouration clears.

Normal discolouration during this process includes rusty or cloudy coloured water.
