SUBJECT: Minden Hills Water System Flushing

Effective Tuesday May 21, 2024 through to Monday June 17, 2024 the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be flushing the Township of Minden Hills water system.

This is regularly scheduled water system maintenance.

Please be aware this will include flushing from fire hydrants throughout the Township We ask that you be aware and expect workers to be on the roads in the areas of the fire hydrants.  

During this time, residents on the municipal water system or accessing the public water tap at the Old Fire Hall may experience low water pressure or discoloured water.

If you experience discolouration in your water, you should run your outdoor faucet, laundry tub faucet, bath, or shower faucet until the discolouration clears.

Normal discolouration during this process includes rusty or cloudy coloured water.
