SUBJECT: Minden Hills Fire Department Live Fire Training Exercise

The Minden Hills Fire Department along with the area municipal Fire Departments within the County of Haliburton will be performing Live Fire Training Exercises during the week of May 1, 2024, to May 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena and Community Centre. The training exercises will take place in the Community Centre parking lot.

The Arena parking lot and amenities will still be available as normal.

The training exercises will include fire suppression, live fire evolution procedures, search and rescue and ventilation exercises.

During this time, members of the public are asked when visiting the Community Centre parking lot to respect the cordoned off area for the safety of both the public and our Firefighters.
