Subject: Operating Hours at the Iron Mine Transfer Station
Residents are advised that starting July 1, 2024, operating hours at the Iron Mine Transfer Station will be reduced. Changes include:
Winter Hours (October 1 to April 30)
Closed Thursday
Summer Hours (May 1 to September 30)
Closed Tuesday and Friday.
Waste and recycling services are still available at the Scotch Line Landfill on these days and available at the Ingoldsby Transfer Station on Fridays during summer hours.
Due to the low traffic counts on these particular days, the Township has made some operational changes.
New hours at the Iron Mine Transfer Station starting July 1, 2024:
Winter Hours (October 1 to April 30)
Sunday – 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Summer Hours (May 1 to September 30)
Sunday – 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Thursday – 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
