Subject: Road Closures and Restrictions

The Township of Minden Hills is advising residents of the following road closures. Residents who must use these roads to access their homes are exempt, however drivers should use caution, limit trips and limit the weight of vehicles.

Milburn Road

• Closed due to soft surface, washouts and expected flooding over the weekend.

Conestoga Road

• Closed from Loucks Lane to 1144 Conestoga Road due to soft road surface and washouts.

Voicey Road

• Closed due to soft road surface and washouts.

Geeza Road

• Closed due to soft road surface and washouts.

The following roads have restricted access; lanes may be reduced due to bad areas or localized flooding.

Alexander Road:

• Restricted due to washouts and soft areas.

Soyers Lake Road (Gravel Portion)

• Restricted due to soft road surface areas.

Dennison Road:

• Restricted due to severe ruts and soft areas.

The Public Works Department is working diligently to repair roads as needed, however these repairs will take time as the Township has limited resources. Residents are encouraged to report issues to the Public Works Department but Staff are also asking for patience as typical response times may be delayed due to crews being dispatched to other areas.
