SUBJECT:   Highway 35 Emergency Road Closure

Residents are being advised that effective immediately, Highway 35 will be closed in both directions for an emergency response. The emergency highway closure is from Taylor Road to Horseshoe Lake Road (North Access).

All Highway 35 traffic is required to take an alternate route:

Option 1: Take Horseshoe Lake Road (County Road 20) as an alternate route. Transport trucks and other heavy vehicles should be aware that this route has a load restricted bridge.

Option 2: Take Bobcaygeon Road to Highway 118. This route is reduced to one lane due to construction.

Option 3: Through Haliburton via Highway 118 and County Road 21.
