Media Release #23-57 SUBJECT: Bobcaygeon and Scotch Line Road Reconstruction Notice

The Township of Minden Hills is advising residents of planned reconstruction of portions Bobcaygeon Road and Scotch Line Road.  

Construction is expected to begin the week of July 17, 2023 and is expected to be complete in November 2023.

Both roads will remain open to local traffic for the majority of the project, however there will be some brief full closures in order to install new cross culverts. Additional notice of these closures and detours will be posted at a later date.

Scotch Line Landfill will remain open during construction.

Residents are asked to plan an alternate route if possible, and plan for extra travel time if they must travel through the construction zone. Please watch for workers, construction vehicles, and signage in the area. A map of the construction zone is attached.

Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the Township website to receive updates or to follow the Township on social media.
