Subject:        Notice of Urgent Watermain Maintenance and Lane Reduction - Highway 35 and County Road 21

The Township of Minden Hills is advising residents of upcoming urgent watermain maintenance on Highway 35 near County Road 21. Highway 35 will be reduced to one Southbound lane in order to complete this work. The lane reduction will begin at 7:00 AM on Friday June 16, 2023 and will be in place until the work is complete.

Water service is not expected to be interrupted; however it may be necessary to shut off the water to complete the repairs. Residents and businesses on Highway 35 between Rotary Park Road and Horseshoe Lake Road may be affected if the water is shut off. Please see map below for location details. The Construction Zone is marked in RED and the potential water shutdown is marked in BLUE.

Residents are asked to be patient and to take an alternate route if possible.

Please plan for a short delay and watch for workers, signage, and construction vehicles.
