We are currently accepting resumes for a Summer Recreation Student (Camp Counsellor) to join the Community Services Department team for the 2025 summer season, July 1 to August 31, 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student who enjoys working outdoors and is interested in working with young people. This position assists with the development and delivery of summer recreation programs and initiatives for the municipality.

Hours will be based on 35 hours/week and involve variable shifts. The rate of pay is $18.00/hour, pending 2025 budget and grant funding approval.

To be eligible, students must be a minimum of 15 years of age, and enrolled in, or returning to school in the fall of 2025. A clean Vulnerable Sector police check is required for this position. Preference will be given to those with experience working with children. The ability to work independently and in a team environment and attention to detail is critical. Proven leadership, customer service & communication skills are required.
