NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills has received applications to consider by-laws to stop up, close, and convey those parcels of land, being shoreline road allowances more particularly described as follows:

Fire Season begins on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 meaning that outdoor burning is prohibited between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The Township of Minden Hills will commence with its annual Septic Re-inspection Program this May 2026, to ensure the protection of our local environment and water quality. Affected property owners will receive a detailed notice by mail prior to the inspection.

The Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills proposes to consider a by-law to stop up, close, and convey parcels of land at the Thursday, March 26, 2026 Council Meeting. 

Council of the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills passed By-Law No. 26-29 and By-law No. 26-30 on the 12th day of March, 2026, under the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act, RSO 1990, c. P. 13. For properties: Part Lot 3, Concession A, Anson, 101 Bobcaygeon Road (PLZBA2026006 – Whitney Plastics) By-law No. 26-29; and Part Lot 22, Concession 13, Snowdon, 1498 Ritchie Falls Road (PLZBA2026008 – Langdon & Jamal) By-law No. 26-30.

The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is pleased to welcome Janet Read with her exhibit Mute Eloquence of Light: Arctic Works. The exhibit will be on display from March 26 to May 23, 2026. The official opening reception with the artist talk will take place on Saturday, April 11 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

The Township of Minden Hills has declared the END of the Significant Weather Event enacted on March 10, 2026.  

Please be advised that the following roads are closed due to spring conditions. Milburn Road and Devil's Lake Road are closed to through traffic due to localized flooding and washouts.
