Please be advised that the tertiary sand filter bypass at the Minden Wastewater Treatment Plant has ended and the plant has resumed regular operations.
Take Notice That the Committee of Adjustment of the Township of Minden Hills will hold a Public Meeting on June 22, 2026 at 9:30 AM and will be a hybrid Meeting (In-person and Electronic via Zoom)
The purpose of the Public Meeting will be to consider a proposed Minor Variance (Application No. PLMV2026025) to the Township of Minden Hills Zoning By-law pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act.
The Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills proposes to consider a by-law to stop up, close, and convey parcels of land more particularly described as follows:
1. File No. PLSRA2025017: Part of the original shore road allowance along the shore of Gull Lake, lying in front of 1014 Orchid Lane located within Lot 19, Concession 7, Geographic Township of Lutterworth
2. File No. PLSRA2025018: Part of the original shore road allowance along the shore of Gull Lake, lying in front of 1021 Zenith Drive located within Lot 19, Concession 7, Geographic Township of Lutterworth
The Council meeting to consider by-laws to stop up, close and convey the parcels listed above will be scheduled for June 25th , 2026.

The Township of Minden Hills advises the intent of this request is to acquire the services of a qualified consultant to prepare a high-level assessment of the Town’s road network and complete a comprehensive Road Needs Study (RNS) that will assess the current state of public roadways under municipal jurisdiction. As well, the purpose of this portion of the project is to undertake a comprehensive Municipal Speed Limit Study for all urban and rural roadways within the Municipality.
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills will be holding a Public Meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, during its Regular Council Meeting regarding proposed changes to the Township’s Fees and Charges By-law:
The Township of Minden Hills is seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our Public Works Department as Seasonal Waste Disposal Site Attendants for 2026. Reporting to the Manager of Waste Facilities, the Seasonal Waste Disposal Site Attendant ensures safe and efficient operations of the Township’s waste disposal sites. This position provides superior and effective customer service to site users.
Effective Tuesday June 2, 2026 through to Friday, June 19, 2026 the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be flushing the Township’s water system.
This is regularly scheduled water system maintenance.
