The Minden Hills Cultural Centre is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the following programming activities and events for Spring 2026

Public Meeting on March 12, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. for both Township initiated Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments, which have application to those lands located within Municipal Well Systems and Municipal Surface Water Systems in the Township of Minden Hills, more specifically being vulnerable areas as identified in the regional Source Protection Plan, within Minden, Lutterworth Pines and Kinmount. 

Take Notice that the Township of Minden Hills has received two (2) complete applications to amend the Township’s Zoning By-law.

The Township of Minden Hills will be holding a Public Meeting, as required under the Planning Act, and as follows:

Committee of Adjustment Public Hearings on February 23, 2026 for Minor Variance Applications PLMV2025087 (Roberts & England), PLMV2026001 (Marshall & MacNeil) and PLMV2025027 (Miller) 

Please be advised that due to planned maintenance, the Minden Wastewater Treatment Plant began a tertiary sand filter bypass on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. All wastewater treated at the plant is still receiving primary and secondary treatment and disinfection prior to discharge. The scheduled maintenance is expected to take eight (8) week.

The Corporations of the Township of Algonquin Highlands, the Township of Minden Hills, the Municipality of Dysart et al and the Municipality of Highlands East, are currently seeking interested applicants from professionals who are required to adhere to codes of standards of their profession, and other individuals with in depth knowledge of the campaign financing rules of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 for appointment to a Joint Compliance Audit Committee.

Please take notice that Council of the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills will consider adopting Water and Wastewater Rate By-laws related to the 2026 Municipal Budget.

Roof at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre (MHCC) and Library facility is being replaced. The construction is scheduled to start on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the MHCC and Library located at 174-176 Bobcaygeon Road.
