Take Notice there will be a Special Meeting of Council held Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Council Chambers, located at 7 Milne Street, Minden, ON.

The Special Council Meeting is being held for a facilitated session with the Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN) to gather Council’s input for the Community-wide Affordability and Governance Structure Study.

We’re looking for volunteers to support a busy and exciting summer season at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre:

• Canada Day (July 1, 10 AM – 4 PM): Help with special event activities including greeting guests, assist with serving ice cream, and supporting event set-up and clean-up.
• July & August: Assist with daily drop-in programs at 11 a.m. and support four weeks of summer camps, including help to lead craft activities, running games, engaging with participants, and preparing materials.

In determining whether to activate the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) program, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) is looking to assess damage within the Township, following the April Flood event.

The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is pleased to welcome Michèle Karch-Ackerman with her exhibit Museum of Her. The exhibit will be on display in the Kirkwood Room of the Agnes Jamieson Gallery from May 28 to July 18, 2026. An artist talk will take place on Saturday, June 6 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is pleased to host a mixed-media members exhibition from the Arts Council ~ Haliburton Highlands from May 28 to July 18, 2026.

The purpose of the Public Meeting will be to consider a proposed Minor Variance Applications PLMV2026023 (Roberts & England) to the Township of Minden Hills Zoning By-law pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act.
