Thank you for your interest in making a donation toward the new Minden Hills Community Centre/Recreation Complex/S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena facility (Community Centre).

The Community Centre Fundraising Advisory Committee (CCFAC) mandate is to raise funds for additional items for the Community Centre such as, a new scoreboard, banner cable and skate harness, a fireplace for a wall in the main lobby, the snack bar, exterior benches and an outdoor digital community sign.

Take A Seat Donation

There are a total of 292 seats in the S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena and each of them are available for a $500 donation. There have been 66 sold so far, so get in on the action. Financial support will be acknowledged by a plaque, physically on each seat, and a tax receipt. The program runs on a first-come, first-served basis as to be as fair as possible.

Piece of Track Program

Each metre of track at the new walking track within the Community Centre is available at a donation of $250. Donors will be acknowledged by signage within the gymnasium so all users will be able to see who contributed to the fundraising for the space.

Everyone is welcome to donate towards the facility and general donations of $100 or more will be memorialized on a wall plaque in the building after the fundraising programs are completed.

Those interested in donating toward these initiatives are being asked to please reach out to Jennifer Hughey at 705-854-1205 or jhughey@mindenhills.ca or Betty Mark at 705-286-4754.
