Subject:       COVID-19 UPDATE – Minden Hills Community Centre/Recreation Complex/S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena

As of January 5, 2022 at 12:01 AM, the province of Ontario is temporarily moving into Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen. Please refer to O. Reg. 263/20 Rules for Areas in Step 2 for the complete list of measures and conditions.

Under the current provincial order, the Minden Hills Community Centre/Recreation Complex/S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena will be closed to the public and all programs and services are suspended at this time. However, once allowable, the Municipality will assess re-opening the facility and program availability based on the province of Ontario’s COVID-19 response framework and recommendations from the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPR).

IMPORTANT: The Mass Immunization Clinics at the Minden Community Centre will continue as scheduled. For a list of dates and how to book an appointment, please visit the HKPR website at: https://www.hkpr.on.ca/2021/09/01/vaccination-clinics/.

Information and updates on recreation services and programs will be communicated by media releases, on our municipal website and through our corporate social media channels, as it becomes available.
