Half Day March Break Camps
Drop your child off at the Agnes Jamieson Gallery to spend a morning learning new skills! All materials included. $10 per child per day. Camps run 9.30 AM – 12.30 PM on March 16, 18 & 19.

Wetlands Juried Photo Contest

A NEW opportunity for photographers living in the Minden area. Enter the JURIED WETLAND PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION!

Selected photos will be printed to vinyl banners and displayed downtown Minden for two consecutive summers, after which they will be returned to the photographer.

Photos must be of local wetlands flora/fauna, keeping in mind the banners are 20”x 48’. A vertical composition is required.

Deadline for entry is March 27, 2020.

Application Process - Photographers may submit only one original piece of their own work for jurying. Submissions must include a completed application form and one image sent to eweiss@mindenhills.ca with subject heading “Entry for Juried Banner Photography Contest”. Selected photographers will be notified via email.

There is no application fee.

Get inspired by Victorian Motto Samplers at the museum and make your own modern version. Victorians loved making embroidered phrases to display in their homes. Make a mini one with words that inspire you! Play with embroidery, fonts, lettering and composition.

Wednesday Weeding: Gardening at the museum

Looking to gain skills, share gardening tips or get inspired to grow your own veggie patch? Drop in on Wednesday mornings to help care for the heritage garden at the museum. A large portion of produce from the garden is donated to the Minden Food Bank.
