Deputy Fire Chief

New Full Time Position

The Township of Minden Hills is looking for a Deputy Fire Chief.  This new full time position reports to the Fire Chief and is responsible for the day to day operations of the department and strategic support to the Fire Chief.  The Deputy Fire Chief provides proactive leadership to emergency response and rescue, fire prevention, public education, training, equipment, apparatus and facility maintenance; and ensuring compliance with the Ontario Fire Code, Municipal by-laws and Provincial and Federal Legislation.

Volunteer Firefighters

The Township of Minden Hills is accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighters. When openings become available, applications will be reviewed and successful application candidates will be invited to interview.

Applications will be retained for a period of 12 months from the date of submission.
