The Township of Minden Hills is accepting applications for a Summer Student position for the Community Services Department. This position provides support and a variety of maintenance operations for the Community Services Department. Rate of Pay is $14.00/hour, pending 2018 budget and grant funding approval.

Volunteer Firefighters

The Township of Minden Hills is accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighters. When openings become available, applications will be reviewed and successful application candidates will be invited to interview. Applications will be retained for a period of 12 months from the date of submission.

Roads Department

Operations Manager

The Township of Minden Hills is seeking an Operations Manager for the Roads Department. Reporting to the Road Superintendent, the Operations Manager leads the day-to-day operations of the Roads Department. Key areas of responsibility include road and bridge maintenance, fleet management and winter control operations. The Operations Manager plans, co-ordinates, monitors daily operations, and ensures supervisory and safety components are met. The Operations Manager will respond to public inquiries on a regular basis. The Operations Manager is required to be on-call and work unusual/extended hours as required.
