The Minden Hills Community Services Department is currently accepting resumes for two (2) summer student positions, for a sixteen (16) week term, effective from May 1 to August 21, 2020.

This position provides support and a variety of maintenance operations for the Community Services Department.

Hours will be based on 40 hours/week and involve variable shifts. The rate of pay is $14.00/hour, pending 2020 budget and grant funding approval.

Economic Development and Cultural Centre

Summer Students

The Minden Hills Cultural Centre is currently accepting resumes for two (2) Summer Student (Heritage Interpreters) positions for a 16 week period from May 5 to August 22, 2020.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student sincerely interested in Canadian history. Working directly with Curators, this position will be of superior benefit to anyone who is in museum studies. Duties include (but are not limited to): assisting with developing and delivering public programming, wearing time period clothing while demonstrating living history activities, public speaking while touring, working with the permanent collection, gardening and cleaning.

Hours will be based on a 35 hour work week. The rate of pay is $14.00 per hour, pending 2020 budget and grant funding approval.
