Located downtown behind the Township administration office, off Milne Street on Saturdays from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Cost is $10 to enter a booth.
Canada Day ~ Friday July 1st
Show your national pride by coming out to Minden Hills’ annual Canada Day Celebration held every July 1st.There are attractions for everyone to enjoy like the Haliburton Highlands Time Travelers classic car show, the Crazy river raft race, live music and performances, demonstrations, community booths and food vendors to keep you well fed and watered throughout the day.
Don’t forget the fireworks! At dusk, the Minden Hills Fire Department put on a spectacular fireworks show at the Minden Fairgrounds. Entry is by donation.
All events and attractions occur from Main Street up to the Cultural Centre and are FREE, unless otherwise specified.
Calling all creative Highlanders! It is that time of year when you need to get busy building a raft and making costumes for the Crazy River Raft Race being held during the Township of Minden Hills annual Canada Day Celebration on July 1st. There will be prizes for the Most Enthusiastic Crew, Most Creative Costumes, Most Original Raft and First to Finish.
All participants must sign a waiver and anyone under 18 must have theirs signed by a parent or guardian. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during the race. Registration is from 11 AM to 12:15 PM at Rotary Park, with the race starting at 12:30. All entrants must wear life-jackets.

Family Halloween Party ~ Friday, October 26th
This is an annual event that is held at the Community Centre where there will be games, prizes for best individual and family costumes, refreshments and of course music so you can show off your best dance moves.
Admission is by donation and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

An evening of food, music and holiday cheer as the town of Minden lights up their main street for the season

A great way to gather up some of the Christmas spirit during this annual event where kids can meet Santa and get a free hot chocolate while they wait!

Family New Year’s Eve ~ December 31st
Grab your skates, toboggans and family and bring them to this family event which runs from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the S.G Nesbitt Memorial Arena. There will be public skating, tobogganing, marshmallow roasting and popcorn all for free!
