There are multiple Community Centres throughout the Township. These centres are available for family reunions, holiday parties, retirement parties, baseball tournaments, bridal and baby showers, family dinners, celebrations of life and funeral wakes, photo sessions and more. All Centres are wheelchair accessible with accessible washrooms, and have an AED on site.

With an interior finished with pine, the building offers ample space for functions.
Outside are horseshoe pits and a baseball diamond.
The kitchen has three sinks, stove top and oven, large cooler, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.

S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena & Community Centre

Three rooms are defined by movable walls to hold your large or small private function. With ample parking room and a view of the arena, this Centre offers of audio and visual equipment at an additional cost. A kitchen and bar facility are also available on site with further requirements and conditions.
The fee to rent this Centre depends on the use of amenities, time of day, and rooms reserved.

Pots and pans are not supplied or available with kitchen rental. A limited supply of cutlery, plates, cups, and glassware are available for use or rent. Rental clients must supply their own dish cloths and towels. Kitchen must be left as found upon rental completion. All dishes, glassware and cutlery must be returned washed and clean to their appropriate locations. Range and counter tops must be wiped clean. Please note that the person(s) in charge of the rental of the Community Centre kitchen facilities are responsible for ALL WINE GLASS, DISHES, CUTLERY, AND GLASSWARE WASHING. A fee will be applied to user groups that leave kitchen ware left unwashed. Please ensure that your caterer is aware of this stipulation in advance of all events.
Completed contract, completed Municipal Alcohol Policy, non refundable deposit of 50% of total rental booking to hold / secure rental, Security / Damage deposit of $100.00 for loss or breakage, payment for rental made in full; 14 days prior to event, proof of insurance (for events serving alcohol, a minimum of $5,000,000.00 coverage, naming the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills as additional third party insured is required, posting of Special Occasions Permit and Smart Serve Certificates for all Bar Tendering staff.
