Show your national pride by coming out to Minden Hills’ annual Canada Day Celebration on Saturday July 1st. In celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary, there are some NEW and exciting attractions that are a must see! Kids will love the interactive science show “Heat up with Cool” and everyone will love watching the world champion disc catching dogs from “Four paws flying entertainment”. If you like to defy gravity have a spin in a human gyroscope or chase your friends around in zorb! Balls all happening at the Minden Fairgrounds!
Once the festivities of the day are complete, be sure to stick around for the “Guess Who’s coming to dinner” music and food festival at the Minden Fairgrounds, starting at 6pm and finishing right before the fireworks. It will feature local food vendors and performances by Cassidy Glecoff, the Fire Weavers and Carl Dixon sings the Guess Who. Fireworks are at dusk. Entry into both events are by donation.

A weekly market featuring the talent of local potters, jewelers, photographers, wood workers and more. Market days run from 10:00am -2:00pm on Saturdays, and is located behind the Township Administration office on Milne Street (across from the farmers market).
Saturday September 16th and Sunday September 17th
Select residents and businesses in Minden Hills will “open their doors” to the community and visitors alike, to showcase this Township’s most intriguing and charming heritage sites. Admission is free to attend.
Family Halloween Party
Friday, October 27th
An annual event that is held at the Community Centre where there will be games, prizes for best individual and family costumes, refreshments and of course music so you can show off your best dance moves.
Admission is by donation and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Start your holiday shopping by purchasing locally made items such as pottery, wood products, jewelry, quilts, preserves and so much more. Located in the S.G Nesbitt Community Centre, the market runs from 11:00am-4:00pm. Admission is free to the public.
Family New Year’s Eve
Grab your skates, toboggans and family and bring them to this free event which runs from 6pm-8pm at the S.G Nesbitt Memorial Arena!
